The Utqiagvik Presbyterian Church (UPC) has a thiving food bank program. The program feeds over 800 seniors, elderly, families and children each month, distributing 40 pound food boxes for a family of four to residents in the village of utqiagvik. The program is supported primarily by volunteers and donations from the North Slope Borough (NSB), The Arctic Slope Community Foundation (ASCF), Native Village of Barrow (NVB) and donations from UPC members, fellow churches and generous individuals in the area.
