This week we is Holy Week, a time when we rememberi the last week of Jesus' life, before he rose from the dead and changes out lives. Follow the following links for more information:
Maundy Thursday--the day of the last supper when Jesus gave his disciples his last great commandment.
Good Friday---the day Jesus was crucified.
Easter Day--the day Jesus conquered death and saved us from our sins.
Did you know that Jesus' Disciples were his closest friends? He was their Lord and Teacher. Maunday Thursday, when Jesus shared Passover with them and told them that he would soon die was hard for the disciples. They did not want him to die. Good Friday, the day Jesus died was even harder. It is hard for all of us because all of us who follow Jesus are all his disciples and like the original disciples thinking of his crucifixtion is painful because we know he died for us. What do you think it was like for the 12 original deciples, including Judas, the one who would betray him?
