This week, we are talking about the weeks after Easter--in Jesus' time. What happen after Jesus died? Well he rose from the dead and for forty days, he appeared here on Earth, in the flesh, comforting and offering hope to those who loved and believed him. He still does this. But in those early days, it was a real surprise for his disciples and loved ones. In fact some really doubted that he had somehow come back alive. That's why the disciple Thomas said he wouldn't believe it was true unless Jesus showed him the holes in his hand from being nailed to the cross.
